Book Reviews

  1. “Kafka on the Shore” by Haruki Murakami. It has cats, Japanese spirits, and WWII references, but less of that mushy stuff from ‘Spirited Away.’ OK, sure, that’s a movie, but you know what I mean.
  2. “Another Roadside Attraction” by Tom Robbins. Featuring an orangutan, a gang of Vatican assassins, a Volkswagen Bus, and a man who wear loin cloths to the grocery store.
